Our watercolor palettes are made from 2mm thick polypropylene and are designed to be used with ArtistrybyAltenew watercolor paints or any other water-based media. The light-colored surface ensures an accurate representation of your paint color, and is smooth and sturdy - perfect for your artistic needs!

  • Medium: 5.75" x 7.75"
  • Heat resistant - will not warp with moderate heat applications
  • To clean, simply wipe down with a damp cloth

Great for coloring

This is not a traditional watercolor set- the colors do not bleed and migrate like one expects from watercolor (wet on wet). However, they are super highly pigmented, they wet easily, and just a tiny amount of pigment will color/shade an image (wet on dry). They are better than I expected and the colors in the 36 set are incredible. I hope replacement pans will be available to fill favorite colors.

I love this little palette...

I love this palette for both watercolor and inks. I am going to order the larger one too.

First, I am no watercolor expert but just an admirer of the beauty and serenity watercolors bring to the paper. I ordered this set recently and have been very pleased with the selection of colors and the tones when blended. I chose this product due to amount of colors and the price of the purchase and in anticipation of the joy that using and experimenting with them will bring to me and the cards they help me create for others.

Worth it!

Beautiful colors. A very generous amount of each. Absolutely stunning on dark paper but wonderfully vibrant on lighter cardstocks as well. If you’re on the fence don’t be.
